Hello guys on this lovely May day. Last week I posted Sewing DIY folk skirt with elastic waistband tutorial and now it’s time to share some styling photos with you. How do you like the handmade skirt? Will you try this DIY project yourself? Let me know in the comments! Here come the photos: Styling DIY folk skirt session.
Styling DIY folk skirt
The photos were made nearby Złoty Stok, small town in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. The town is situated on the border with the Czech Republic and we spent there two days when enjoying long weekend on 19th – 21st of May due to the public holiday in Germany.
The whole weekend we enjoyed great weather. We visited Zamek Książ, beautiful castle located in Wałbrzych with it’s gardens and palm house. Then we went to Polanica Zdrój where we tried healthy mineral waters (yep, traveling grandpa style) and visited former Gold Mine in Złoty Stok.
Any disadvantages of sunny weather? My pollen allergy came striked with its full strength.
My skirt is 100% cotton which makes it breathable and nice to wear on a hot day like this. I am not sure about the cotton weight (GSM) but it’s also quite rigid which makes it look better comparing the very soft types.
Other than a handmade skirt, I am wearing jeans jacket by Noisy May bough on Zalando, rubber shoes from CCC, old knit-type sleveless shirt from H&M, summer hat by Even&Odd, also from Zalando but no longer in offer.
